She was born October 21, 1939 in Clearfield County, PA, daughter of the late Vern and Mary Cross.
Shirley was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church and formerly Venice Presbyterian Church. She was proudly employed by JC Penneys fine jewelry department for 16 years. Shirley enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and cooking and especially taking care of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, as they were the loves of her life.
Surviving are daughter Jody (Zane) Cimino of Cuddy, son Brad (Roberta) Senay of Washington, grandchildren Alexis, Samantha, Zoey and Chase Senay, Norman (Kodi) and Tim (Jennifer) Cimino and Michelle (Bill) Clingan, great-grandchildren Alex Morton, Alexander, Aubreya and Samuele Cimino, Lexi, Lorenzo (Cortney) and Brayden Lytton and Alaina Clingan. Also surviving are sisters Beverly Blair, Vida (Frank) Dellorso, Mary Lou (Jerry) Arlia, Debbie Williams, sister-in-law Alberta Cross and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Senay in 2012, brothers, Larry and Jerry Cross and sister Louise Turiczek.
Friends will be received 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Thursday, July 17 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Rd., Cecil, PA 15321and from 10-11AM on Friday, July 18 at Venice Presbyterian, 3694 Millers Run Rd., where services will be held at 11AM with Pastor Patrick Keeley officiating.
Interment will follow in Venice Cemetery.
