David Senay Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel on Oct. 4, 2025.
David Senay, 63, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully and entered into the Lord's presence on Friday, October 3, 2025. He was born on August 23, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio. David was a beloved son, husband, brother and uncle. He was a 1980 graduate of Kirtland High School and a dedicated industrial worker for many years until illness set in. He was known for being his Dad's "Best Man," and his Dad was his "Best Man." He was a very loyal Cleveland Indians fan (inside joke-never called the Guardians) and attended several games over the years. He and his Dad were at the last game to be held at Cleveland Municipal Stadium and the first game to be held at Progressive Field. David also had a love for classic rock music.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Renee and mother, Donna, and step mother, Kay.
He is survived by his father, Jim and sister, Sharon (Brian), step sister, Kelly (Dave), step brother, Chuck (Tammy), step sister Makara (Manford). He is also survived by nieces, Brittany (Matt), nieces Alexa, Cassandra, Kiara (Billy), Melody (Mason) and nephews Nicholas and Isaac and great nephews Elias, and Matthew and great niece, Evelyn.
A Graveside Service will be held at Kirtland South Cemetery (10444 Chillicothe Rd. Kirtland, Ohio 44094) on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Brian Humphreys officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westerwood Skilled Nursing Facility or to Capital City Hospice.
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
(2 Corinthians 5:8)
