Shirley "Sue" M. Miller, age 89, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025 at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center. She was born on May 19, 1935 to the late Donald Overholt and Vivian Ufert in Akron, OH. She graduated from Central Hower High School. She was a proud member of FOE Eagles for many years.
Sue is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn (Brian) Messner; grandchildren, Heather and Michael Yoder and Justin, Cory (Chloe), Kyle (Jennie), Allison and Ryan Mason; great-grandchildren, Dominick, Serenity, Maddie, Olive and Brianna; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bernie Mason; and sisters, Donna and Terry.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Sue's Life is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1pm until 4pm at VFW Post 1062 (1581 Main Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221).
