Frankfort – Shirley Taylor Proctor, 85, widower of Huston Proctor, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born in Harrodsburg on May 26, 1936 to the late Charlie and Susan Thacker Taylor. She was a lunch lady and school bus driver with the Department of Education. She also enjoyed working in the food service for the prison. Shirley loved children and enjoyed cooking for everyone.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty (Patrick) Fletcher, Louisville; her son, Tony (Kathy) Sanders, Louisville; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Sanders, Shelbyville; and her great grandchild, Aiden.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandsons, Josh and Jason.
Funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Pastor Tim Jumpp officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00pm until the time of service on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
