Barbara was a beautiful soul whose kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Her unforgettable love story with her husband, Dan Proctor, was nothing short of a fairy tale - a tale filled with unwavering devotion and endless love, truly the stuff of movies.
Barbara faced her health challenges with unwavering courage and resilience, remaining valiant and strong throughout the years. Her spirit and determination were an inspiration to her family and friends.
Barbara's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving loved ones: her devoted husband, Dan Proctor; her supportive sister, Jackie Taylor, brother Robert Murphrey; her beloved children, James Curtis (Jackie) Short, Charlene (John) Loper, and Jonnie Rena (Cullen) Vincent; her grandchildren, Jay, Alex, Taylor, Lindsey, and Meredith; and her great-grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and her love for them knew no bounds.
In the hearts of her family, Barbara's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on. She leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to be a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Among those who have gone before her, Barbara is reunited with parents James and Darlene Mays Taylor, her cousin Stella, and Von G Short. Their spirits now soar together, watching over those they cared for with eternal love.
Barbara Ann Taylor Proctor will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unyielding love, generous nature, and her unwavering strength. Her impact on those around her was profound, and her absence leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who loved her.
