Shirley Tayse Obituary
Ms. Shirley Brown Tayse, age 87 of Red Boiling Springs, and formerly of the Pine Lick Community in Jackson County, TN. passed away Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024 at the Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN. Shirley is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Shirley Brown Tayse will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jack Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the John L. Clark cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
Family request memorials to the St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or The Willette Church of Christ. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, John Cleamon Tayse; Son, Ronnie DeWayne Tayse; Mother, Erma Evans Brown Huffines; Father, Bee Brown; Stepfather, Melvin Huffines; Sisters, Helen Veatch, Darletta Odle, Irene Nannie, and Pearl Webb; Brothers, Charles Brown and Melvin Cecil Huffines.
She is survived by: Brother, Carl Brown of Muncie IN; Children, Barbara & Bill Prall of Cookeville TN, Johnny & Carolyn Tayse of Pleasant Shade TN, Susan & Timmy Huffines of Gainesboro TN, and Penny & Mike Halliburton of Lafayette TN; Grandchildren, Angelia Hope Whitley of Nashville TN, Holly & Terry Crowder of Red Boiling Springs TN, Crystal & Jay Boulton of Lillian AL, Keisha Sams of Gainesboro TN, Amanda Padgett & Jonathan Duke of Pleasant Shade TN, Frank & Colleen Prall and Jennifer Prall of Cookeville TN, and Amber & Jesse Toland of Columbia TN; Great-grandchildren, Shay Stamps, Maliyah Whitley, Brooke Toler, Keisha Spivey, Johnny Toler, Jaymin Loftis, Seth Sams, Kaleb Sams, Alyssa Padgett, Ethan Padgett, Ashley Huffman, Nicholas Prall, Samantha Long, Grace Cash, several great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews
