Doris M. Tayse

Doris M. Tayse, 89, of Sheboygan Falls passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Sheboygan Health Services.
Doris was born on January 19, 1935 in Sheboygan Falls to the late Reinhold and Adeline (Sebald) Schmidt. She was a 1953 graduate of Plymouth High School. She furthered her education and received her bachelor's degree in education from Lakeland College. On May 28, 1960 she married Mabrey Tayse at Saron UCC. Doris taught in a one room schoolhouse in Sheboygan Falls, then became a substitute teacher in the Sheboygan area. Doris worked for H&R Block for over 40 years, preparing taxes until she was 80 years old. Doris enjoyed tracing her ancestry.
Doris is survived by her husband: Mabrey Tayse, Sheboygan Falls; two sons: Brian (Carrie) Tayse, Sheboygan Falls and Louis Tayse, Sheboygan Falls; two granddaughters: Serenity Tayse, Sheboygan Falls, and Crystal Nennig, Sheboygan; great-grandchildren: Issac, Anthony, Haley, and Shania. Doris was preceded in death by her parents: Reinhold and Adeline Schmidt; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Thomas Tayse and Eric (Sandy) Tayse.
A funeral service to celebrate Doris' life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, 123 South Street Plymouth. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Doris will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
