It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Tunnell of Shelton, WA. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Rick, her daughter Whitney (Danny), her daughter Molly (RJ) and her beloved grandchildren Kai, Cass and Brooke. Her family was the center of her world and her love for us was immeasurable. Shirleys greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and creating special moments and lifelong memories for them.
Shirley enjoyed spending her time camping and was a skilled gardener. She also loved cooking and baking, and her food was a source of great comfort and joy to all who tasted it. Shirley was a talented seamstress who could skillfully create anything she set her mind to. Her creations were a reflection of her spirit and she took great pride in the beauty that she cultivated.
Shirleys connection to her church was a significant part of her life. She found strength, community, and joy in her faith. Her presence at Spring Road Chapel was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Whether it was her warm smile, her kind words, or the love she poured into her church community, Shirleys spirit will be missed by her church family and those whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at Spring Road Chapel (1113 E Shelton Springs Rd, Shelton, WA 98584) on December 1st, 2024 @ 12:30. The service will be followed by refreshments and fellowship. We invite all those whose lives Shirley touched to join us in celebrating her life and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
