Shirley Ann Beam Vallini, age 86, of Nebo, left this earthly life on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Mitchell county on September 13, 1937 to the late Glispie Beam and Flora Barrier Beam.
Shirley was known as a Godly Christian woman of the Baptist Faith. Everyone called her granny. She loved to play the piano and sing. She sang with the Gospel Tone Trio for many years. Shirley was known as a fabulous cook. More than everything she loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan “Bud” Vallini; and her grandson, Matthew Vallini
She is survived by four children, Darren “Buzzy” Vallini (Robin), Mark Vallini (Tracy), Sam Vallini (Ronica), and Dan Vallini (Anita); grandchildren, Leah Gauthier, Portia Bollinger, Megan Sullins, Eric Brown, Cierra Johnson, Nathan Vallini, Aaron Vallini, Anthony Vallini, Elijah Vallini, Noah Vallini, Kaleb Lyons, Ashley Gouge, Jayden Vallini, Kade Vallini, Kylee Vallini, and Brendan Vallini; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Reverends Dr. Sam Vallini, Bruce Ward, and Danny Castle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Old Nebo Cemetery.
