Shirley Warren was born on April 20, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Vincent & Mabel Brown. Shirley has 2 siblings; Vincent Nzinga and Janice Elizabeth Brown, a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members that she held very dear to her heart. Shirley graduated from McDonough 35 High School. She married the love of her life, Moease Warren on August 26, 1968, who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish memories seven children; O'Conner, Karen, Claudette, Paulette, Lance, Judy and Linda, grandchildren; Julllawne, Tessina, Jarreau, Tiffany, Tracey, Allyssa, April, Kara, Chelsea, and twelve great grandchildren. She worked tirelessly as a homemaker for her large family and her children affectionately recalled "My mother was very meticulous about her home, very stern with us, and made sure we were well dressed and had good manners."
