Shirley Marie Brandon Wells, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at her home in DeWitt, VA.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Herb Ferguson; beloved daughter, Tonya Marie Wells; parents, Robert and Mary Lois Brandon; siblings, Brenda, Tom, and Melissa, and brothers-in-law, Carl Wells and Joe Baker.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Neil Wells; her brothers and sisters, Steve Brandon (Tedi), Ginny Martin (Mark), Beth Beegle (Jon), and Tim Brandon; sisters-in-law, Linda Wells and Linda Brandon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Todd, Kim, Kelly, Tracey, Tommy, Corey, Michael, Brandon, Peyton, Jordan, Jonathon, Travis, Taylor, Tanner, and Trent.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Rocky Run Methodist Church, DeWitt, VA, followed interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Run Methodist Church, 14925 Glebe Road, DeWitt, VA 23840.
