WILLIAMS – Shirley Jo (Lee) Williams, age 78 of Union Point, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with Rev. Larry Wynn and Rev. Wilburn Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Shirley was a member of the Yellow River Baptist Church, Lilburn; Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula; and Centennial Baptist Church, Rutledge. She played the organ for over 50 years. Shirley was very involved in the ladies' ministries. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband James Douglas Williams in 2005; and her parents, Herman and Frances (Cain) Lee. She is survived by her children, Scott & Cindy Williams, Buckhead, GA; Chris & Danielle Williams, Union Point, GA; grandchildren, Jacob & Tobie Williams; Caleb & Lydia Williams; Alexander Williams; and Marisa Williams; and great grandchildren, Maggie, Riggin, and Frannie; sister, Vicki & Dwight Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.
