Shirley Ann Wilson

Shirley Ann Wilson 91 passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Baptist Health Louisville, with her loving family around her. She was born to the late Emmett William and Cledith (Turpen) Pfenninger. She was a graduate of Presentation Academy and member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She had a successful career as a realtor with Cherokee Realty, and she also worked with her son at his company, Upper Crust Catering.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Wilson Sr.; sons, Daniel Lee and Mark James Wilson; and sisters, Dolores Wirth and Madeline Sullivan.

She is survived by her children, Cheri Gustafson (Arlen), Kathleen Bowles, and James Wilson Jr. (Angela J.); son in law, Barry King (Kevin Bays); daughter in law, Ann Jerde; grandchildren, Beige Thomas (Wesley), Wesley Bowles (Ashley), Clinton Bowles, Austin Wilson (Sabrina), Zachariah Wilson, Nina Dietz, Mark Wilson II, Savannah Wilson, Sofia Wilson; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Shirley's favorite memories always included her family, whether it be lakeside, beachside, or inviting everyone over to her house where they frequently gathered. Her house was often filled with upbeat music, love and a dog underfoot, and her family will remember her most by her kindness, beauty, and love for bourbon cream.

Always one of the last to leave the party, please join us as we celebrate her final goodbye.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2026, at Ratterman Brothers, East Louisville 12900 Shelbyville Rd., 40243. "In Middletown".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St. Albert the Great Church (1395 Girard Dr, Louisville, KY 40222). Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus Health of Louisville.
