Shirley Garrett Windham, 83, of Conway passed away on May 4, 2023. She was born February 23, 1940 in Cherry Hill, Arkansas to Roy and Helen Garrett.
She attended college and obtained her lifetime beautician license and worked as a beautician for many years. She loved watching all the Razorback sports, especially basketball.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Brenda Ann Hampton (Virgil); granddaughter, Stephanie Butler (Marshall); great-grandson, David Butler; sisters, Ella Dee Garrett and Willa Burton; sister-in-law, Mary Root, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 62 years, Horace Windham; her son, Roy Franklin Windham; and two brothers, Lee and Chuck Garrett.
A visitation will be held 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Sunday, May 7 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00pm Monday, May 8 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arkansas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org/arkansas.
