Shirly Ann "ShirlGirl" Aldrin

It is with deep sadness we announce that Shirly Ann Aldrin age 54, on December 2, 2025 gained her wings to fly with her angels in Framingham Massachusetts.

ShirlGirl was born to Ross P Aldrin of Worcester, MA and Ann Marie Aldrin of North Providence, Rhode Island on November 12, 1971 at Marlborough Hospital in her hometown of Marlboro MA.

She leaves behind her father Ross and his wife, Elizabeth. Her mother Ann and her stepfather Roy Benson. Her cherished sons Steven Aldrin (sp.Megan Lemay) of Warwick , RI and Nicholas Colella and his Dad Peter Colella of Westborough, MA. And recently welcomed her first Granddaughter Alaina. Her little sister Kelly Aldrin and little brother Ryan Aldrin. Her niece Julia Noyes. And aunts and uncles and cousins. She leaves behind a very special partner, Johnnie Lopez of Framingham MA.

Shirly was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents Paul and Pamela Aldrin. Maternal Grandmother, Shirley Brigham and her husband Richard Brigham of Marlborough MA. Her Maternal Grandfather Thomas Coggins of Hudson MA. Many uncles and aunt. Sadly, her first cousin Aron Roberts, who passed recently in September. Safe to say they are all probably having a good old time "up there"!

Shirly loved music and dancing. She enjoyed singing with her brother. She loved her boys more than anything.

Shirly attended Assabet Valley in Marlborough in the late 80s where she rocked some truly 80s hairdos and her fashion was always a head turner! People may remember her working at Lincoln Lunch in Marlboro with our very special friend John Carr, who passed many years ago.

There will be a Funeral Mass held in her honor on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m at Our Lady Help of Christians, 573 Washington St., Newton, MA 02458. Burial is private.
