Shironda was educated in the Newark public schools. She worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Wendy's Restaurant at different points in her life.
Shironda enjoyed watching movies, talking smack to everyone and enjoying family with a good laugh.
Shironda was preceded in death by: her husband, Michael Brevard; her brother, Aaron Floyd; her aunt, Patricia Shaw; her grandfather, John Floyd; and her grandmother, Annie Mae Floyd.
Shironda leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Mikea Floyd; two sons, Whahid Floyd and Sharod Floyd; her mother, Betty Floyd; three brothers, Jermaine Floyd, Sean Stevens and Marcus McCullum; three sisters, Tennille Floyd, Tawanda Smith and Tomeka Smith Floyd; her aunts, Brenda Floyd and Rosa Gray Floyd; her nieces, Fuquana Floyd, Emercha Suggs, Naquada Suggs, Deliah Suggs, Shakilya Suggs, Naisha Suggs, Aiesha Suggs, Jessica Blue and Diamond Blue; nephews, Aaron Smith, Fuquan Floyd and Deondre Williams; her cousins, Johnny Floyd, Siddiqua Shaw, Rashid Shaw and Muhammad Shaw; along with a host of friends.
Although she's no longer physically with us, those memories of laughter and her solidarity will always live in our hearts forever.
