Sidney Mr. Sid Johnson Obituary
Sidney Junior Johnson (Mr. Sid) went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025,at the age of 99. He was born to Mary and Dave Johnson on August 7, 1926. He was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church and a heart that loved his savior. Sid lived his life loving people. He served his country in the navy and was a car salesman for 40 years. Sid never knew a stranger, he always had a smile, story and jokes for everyone he met. He was loved and respected by many people throughout his life.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Lou Johnson; His parents; his sister Davaleen Baker; son Larry Johnson and grandson John Stout. Mr. Sid is survived by his sister Eula Trotter of Texas, sons Brian (Vickey Stout) Johnson of Beebe; Rodney Johnson of Beebe; daughter-in-law Lenora Johnson of Beebe; grandchildren John David (Janaia) Johnson of Jonesboro; Lora Fones of Missouri, Melinda Johnson of Beebe, Ashley Curtis of Beebe, and Nora Murillo of Beebe; 9 great-grandkids and one great-great-granddaughter as well as a host of extended family.
The family is requesting instead of flowers, family and friends can make a donation to Union Valley Baptist Church or Gideon Bibles.
Family will receive friends and family 10am on Saturday the 27th of December at Union Valley Baptist Church located at 932 US 64 in Beebe, Arkansas. Memorial services will follow at 11am Saturday the 27th of December.
