Siena Brachelli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bordentown Home for Funerals on Feb. 4, 2026.
Our beloved daughter, Siena Marie Brachelli, only 19 years old, left this world far too soon on January 31, 2026. There are no words large enough to hold the weight of this loss, no language that can fully capture the light she brought into our lives from the moment she arrived.

Siena was born with a spark; a warmth that radiated effortlessly, a kindness that never needed to be taught, and a joy that filled every room she entered. As parents, we watched her grow into a young woman who was thoughtful, bright, compassionate, and endlessly loving. She made us proud every single day.

A graduate of Notre Dame High School, Siena carried her curiosity and determination with her to Saint Joseph's University, where she was studying Political Science. She was building a future rooted in purpose; a future she approached with the same heart and conviction she brought to everything she did. Her involvement in Tri Sigma (Sigma Sigma Sigma) Delta Psi chapter and her work with Ordinarie Heroes reflected her natural instinct to lead, to serve, and to lift others up.

But beyond her accomplishments, Siena was our daughter; our heart. She was laughter around the dinner table, late-night conversations, shared dreams, and the gentle presence that made our home feel whole. She loved deeply and is deeply loved. Her friendships were genuine, her loyalty unwavering, and her ability to make others feel seen was one of her greatest gifts.

Losing Siena has shattered us. The world feels quieter now, dimmer, missing the brightness she carried so effortlessly. Yet even in our grief, we hold tight to the memories she gave us; the smile that lit up her face, the way she hugged with her whole heart, the compassion she showed without hesitation, the future she was so ready to build.

We love you, Siena. We always will. Your light will live in us for the rest of our days.

Siena is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Melissa Brachelli; her brothers, Noah and Dylan; her beloved dog Jilli; her grandparents Joann Brachelli (preceded in death by Kenneth Brachelli), Patricia and Robert Renaud; as well as many other family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. David the King Parish, 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m. The Brachelli family is deeply grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and invites all to attend the 12:00 p.m. Mass in celebration of Siena's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Daniel Haas & Siena Brachelli '24 Memorial Scholarship Fund. All gifts may be sent to Notre Dame High School, 601 Lawrence Road, Lawrence Twp., NJ 08648 or online using the "Daniel Haas '24 Memorial Scholarship" as your designation at https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/29441/donations/new

Nick, Melissa, and Family...It has been a bit of time since I have seen you all, but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I didn't get the privilege of knowing Siena except for when she was very little, however I know she must have been remarkable based on her family. Although I didn't know Siena personally, it's clear she'd already made her mark in the world. Sending prayers and most sincere condolences to her friends, classmates, her new Tri Sigma sisters, and most especially to her family.
This loss may supersede all else in your lives for some time. Trust and believe that Siena's light will continue to shine. And when you're ready, that now-divine light will shine through to your broken hearts and help you find a life of acceptance and joy.
