Silas Angel Rodriguez-Valverde passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on September 2nd, 2025, after a courageous and heartfelt journey. Though his time on this earth was brief, Silas touched countless hearts with his strength, resilience, and the quiet beauty of his spirit.

Born on New Year's Day to Jennifer A. Rodriguez and Angel F. Valverde, Silas spent his life surrounded by love and care at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He found comfort in lullabies, joy in the gentle touch of holding hands, and calm in the moments when someone played with his hair. These small, sacred moments became the rhythm of his days and the heartbeat of his parents' world.

Silas' story is one of quiet bravery. In just eight months, he showed strength far beyond his years and left an everlasting impact on everyone who knew him or followed his journey. His family is forever changed and forever grateful for the time they were blessed to share with him.

Jennifer and Angel would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the incredible medical team at Children's Hospital, who became like family and cared for Silas with unwavering compassion and love.

Silas is survived by his devoted parents, Jennifer and Angel, and a wide circle of family including aunts, uncles, and loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts always.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Silas' life will be held on Saturday, September 13th, 2025. Family will greet guests at 1:00 PM. Service starts at 3:00PM at Shimon Funeral Home.
