Silvia R. Giron passed away on April 3, 2025, in Modesto, CA at the age of 86. Silvia was born on January 29, 1939, in El Salvador to parents, Manuel Antonio Quinteros and Rogelia Orellana de Quinteros. She was married to the love of her life, Humberto Giron, for 46 wonderful years and they had two children. Silvia was a secretary and homemaker and some of her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and cooking.
Silvia was a woman of faith and wisdom. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Silvia G. Klein and Jose H. Giron, both from Salida, CA; her grandson, James A. Klein from Salida, CA; and her sisters, Ana Gladys Cruz and Alma Ligia Zepeda. Silvia was preceded in death by husband, Humberto Giron; and her siblings, Oscar Quinteros, Argentina de Montenegro, and Sergio Quinteros.
There is a Visitation scheduled at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home (McHenry Chapel) on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 9:30 am and a Funeral Service beginning at 10 am. There will also be a Graveside Service to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Modesto.
