With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Simon A. Bandenburg, who left us far too soon at the age of 20, on October 2, 2025, following a tragic motorcycle accident. Born on October 19, 2004, in Cincinnati, OH, Simon was the beloved son of Robert and Terri (Tillman) Bandenburg, a cherished brother and grandson, and a loyal friend to many.

Simon lived life "full throttle." He was passionate about snow skiing, fishing, and motorcycles, and embraced life with a spirit of adventure, boundless energy, and courage. Fiercely independent, Simon met every challenge with determination and heart. As a talented welder at Stock Mfg, he was known for his skill, precision, and strong work ethic - qualities that reflected his pride in his craft.

Those who knew Simon will remember his generosity and loyalty. Always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh, he had a natural gift for connecting with others. To his family, he was a source of pride and joy; to his friends, an unforgettable companion; and to his nieces and nephews, an adoring and playful uncle.

Simon will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Robert and Terri Bandenburg; brothers, Benjamin (Samantha) Goldschmidt, Joseph (Allison Haire) Bandenburg, Jack (Jenna Messner) Bandenburg, and Adam Bandenburg (Rachael Lukey); the love of his life, Mikayla Rudisell; nieces and nephews, Ruth, Louis, and Luke; and his grandfather, Thomas Tillman. He is also survived by many extended family members and countless dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel and Shirley Bandenburg and Rose Mary Tillman, as well as his uncles, John Bandenburg and Thomas Tillman.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Simon's life at a Visitation on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH. A Visitation will also be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 542 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg, IN, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greendale Cemetery.

Please join us in remembering Simon - sharing stories, offering support, and celebrating the vibrant life of a young man who touched so many hearts. Though he is gone too soon, his memory will forever live on in all who knew and loved him.
