Simone Arakelian Obituary
Enfield, CT
Simone Asimo (Krokidas) Arakelian, 83, of Enfield, beloved wife for 59 years of Gabriel Arakelian, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Charles Garo Arakelian and Seta Marangoudakis and her husband Peter; grandchildren, Sophia and Melina; sister, Attorney Maria J. Krokidas Bullen and her husband Bruce Bullen; nieces and nephews, Alexandra Bullen Coutts, Christine Sarkeesian, George Bullen, Haig Arakelian, John Bullen, John Krokidas, and Stephanie Krokidas; as well as other relatives and friends.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 4-7 p.m., at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 6, 11 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts State Veterans Cemetery in Agawam.

It greatly saddens me to read of Simone's passing. I was the tax collector in Springfield for many years and Simone would visit me frequently. Always good-natured and appreciative of my assistance. R.I.P. Simone!
