Sinclair Edward McNealy, Jr. born October 3, 1957 in Punta Gorda, Florida, began his journey filled with promise and potential. He was the son of Evelyn Platt and Sinclair Edward McNealy, Sr.
Sinclair, fondly known as "CLAIR" by family and friends was educated in the Public Schools of Charlotte County. After his family relocated to Oviedo, Florida he attended and graduated from Oviedo High School class of 1975. Sinclair continued his education at Seminole Community College (now know as Seminole State).
Sinclair married Connie Brown and together they raised two children Reginald and Charmaine. Though they did not remain married, their close friendship continued throughout the years.
"Clair" entered the working force early in his life. He embarked upon employment in various positions. He was employed with the city of Oviedo for several years until is retirement.
Throughout his life, Clair found solace in the simple pleasure in life, from his favorite sport of basketball to fishing and Saturday morning garage sales with his neighbor and best friend, Ivan.
Sinclair loved his children and grandchildren. They had an unbreakable bond. In fact they gave him his greatest name "G Daddy". He wore it proudly!
Ad we reflect upon Sinclair's legacy, we acknowledge the countless lives he touched and inspired. His warm smile, infectious laughter, playful nature and genuine kindness endeared him to all who crossed his path. His genuine friendship extended beyond bloodlines.
All of the earthly things are behind Sinclair now. He traded earth for erternity on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
Sinclair is preceded in death by his fathers: Sinclair McNealy Sr. & James Walter Glenn, sister Faith Glenn and brother-in-law Leonard Williams.
Sinclair leaves to forever cherish his memories:
Mother: Evelyn Glenn.
Daughter: Charmaine Goines (Cliff).
Son: Reginald Brown.
Granddaughter: Heaven Sinclair Tyson.
Grandson: Devin Goines.
Sisters: Janice Seales (Michael), Karen Williams, Tracy Glenn, Octavia Evans and Mecca Robinson.
Brother: Wendell McNealy (Diane), Kelvin Glenn (Penelope) and John Leroy Jackson.
Host of: Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
Former Spouse: Connie McNealy
God Sisters: Rita Simpson, Cynthia Alexander, Kyrstal Bell, Carol McKinney, Rachel Henderson, Erica Bradford, and Penny Bright.
