In Loving Memory of Sintee Loricka

1953 – 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sintee Loricka on Wednesday,

September 10, 2025, at the age of 72.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago to Kowsillia Moolchan and Moolchan Boondail, Sintee

lived a life marked by grace, humility, and quiet strength. She was the wife of

Lachmidialdial Loricka and immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, a place she

would lovingly call home.

Sintee was a gentle, selfless soul-an extraordinary listener and a source of comfort to

everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. She embodied unconditional love and

the power of quiet presence. Her life was dedicated to her family-her children,

grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-whom she cherished deeply and supported

with unwavering devotion.

She had a natural gift for caregiving and poured her heart into helping others, touching

many families lives along the way. Sintee found joy in the simple things: cooking

traditional Trinidadian food, enjoyed visiting farms and traveled to many countries.

Animals held a special place in her heart, as she believed they connected with her spirit,

her favorites were dogs and parakeets.

Much like a lotus flower, Sintee bloomed in grace and beauty, never seeking the

spotlight but always shining with quiet dignity. She was humble, kind, and deeply loved.

She is survived by her beloved children:

Cindy Loricka, Bobby Loricka, Dushwantie Kay Loricka, and Lakshmi Loricka

Her treasured grandchildren:

Jessica Loricka, Ryan Gayle, Hannah Gayle, Matthew Kendrick, BJ Loricka,

Sintee Emily Shahid, and Zack Ortiz

Her precious great-grandchildren:

Lia Ragland, Rylee Gayle, Jorah Shahid, Junior Gayle, and Sire Shahid

And by many loving family members including:

Sons-in-law: Gary Gayle and Harmin Ortiz

Grandson-in-law: Ahad Shahid

Sisters: Nan and Margaret

Brothers: Issac and Toolsie

Sisters-in-law: Pearly, Maltee, Patsy, and Sheila

She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Asha Loricka, and siblings Jimmy,

Kitch, Andrew, Dolly, Victor, Curti, Narine, and brother-in-law Balo.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at:
