Skylar Lei Hicks, age 8, of 102 Spring St., Union, passed away, June 19, 2025.
Skylar was born October 25, 2016, in Spartanburg, a daughter of Tammie Calhoun and Christopher Matthew Hicks (Lisa).
Surviving in addition to her parents are four siblings, Jamison Hicks of the home, Stephanie Smith, Liam Hicks, and Willow Hicks all of Landrum; her maternal grandparents, John and Renee Calhoun; her paternal great-grandmother, Ida Hicks; her aunts and uncles, Wendy Calhoun and husband John, Robbie Bobo, Joshua Hicks and Kacie Vaughan; her great aunts and great uncles, Larry Hicks, Nick and Shanna Williams, Randy and Kaye Johnson, and Johnny Bobo (Marsha); and a number of cousin who were very close to her. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, James Hicks, and her paternal grandmother, Tammy Williams Gault.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Buddy Hogan.
The family is at the home of her aunt and uncle, Wendy and John Calhoun, 223 Longtwelve Street, Union, SC 29379.
