She was born July 18, 1957 in Granite City to her late mother, Mildred E. (Shoptaw) Humphrey and late father, Jose Fernando Fernandez Narvaez and was a daughter to her late step-father, Donald E. Humphrey.
Sofia is survived by 2 sisters, Carolotta Mossotti of Bright, IL, and Ramona Roberts of Guyton, GA, 2 half-brothers, Anthony and Robert Narvaez both of TX, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa M. Willieford, and a brother, Jose F. Narvaez Jr.
Services are private.
