Sofia Isabella Pulvino

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sofia Isabella Pulvino on February 16, 2026. Sofia, born on January 5, 1992, in Erie, PA and later residing in Syracuse, NY, was the daughter of Michelle Pulvino-Grandinetti (David) and James Dougan (Michelle).

Sofia was the epitome of a devoted mother, dedicating her life to loving her children: Layla Arduini-Pulvino (Jason Arduini), Cali Pulvino-Davis (Richard Davis), and Benjamin Pulvino-Davis (Richard Davis). Sofia's favorite role was being a mother, always prioritizing family and creating lasting memories. She was often recognized for her unconditional love, creativity, and strength. She lit up any room she walked into with her warmth, kindness, empathy, and incredible sense of humor. Sofia's energy was captivating and personality, magnetizing. Whether she was boosting her client's confidence with a new cut or color as a hair stylist, making a room full of people laugh with a joke, or simply sharing stories that warmed your heart, her nurturing presence and bright light brought joy to everyone around her. Words could never possibly encompass all that Sofia was as a human being.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Gabriel C. Pulvino Jr. and Samuel Dougan; as well as her beloved Aunt Dennise Beaumont. She is survived by her children, mother and father, siblings: Caesar Grandinetti, Emmanuella Grandinetti, Andrea Dougan, Thomas Dougan (Stephanie) and Emily Lopez (Gio); grandmother, Jackie Dougan; aunts and uncles: Lynette Maggio (Michael), Gabriel C. Pulvino III (Kim), Robert Beaumont, Teri DeAngelo (Paul), Kerry Dougan; and many cousins.
