Solomon Lechuga

Solomon Lechuga, 80, of Odessa, TX, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 28, 2023, in Odessa, TX.
Solomon was born in Midland, TX, to Gustavo and Eva Lechuga on March 9, 1943. He attended Ector High School in Odessa, TX. He married Theresa Nabarrette on January 27, 1962, in Odessa, TX. Together they had their son, Dion, shortly after. Solomon worked in sales for West Texas Office Supply and Balie Griffith Firestone (where he received numerous awards for top salesman), before starting his own business, Lechuga's Video, where he worked for 32 years. Solomon retired in January of 2019 alongside his wife and son, both of whom worked with him at Lechuga's until that time. Solomon was a member of the Lion's club and attended church at St. Mary's. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spoiling his granddaughters, and listening to his favorite music. He was known to always be in a happy mood and had a gift for making others feel important. He had immense patience and generosity, which he taught his grandchildren over the course of their lives. After retiring, he lived an easy-going life and enjoyed days filled with family, playing and tending to his dog Caesar, and other favorite activities.
Solomon is preceded in death by his parents and brother Albert Lechuga.
Solomon is survived by his beloved wife Theresa Lechuga, son and daughter-in-law Dion and Rachel Lechuga, brother Abelardo Lechuga of New Mexico, granddaughter Jesika Smith and her husband Billy Smith, granddaughter Gabriela Davis and her husband Brance Davis, and great-grandchildren Hartley, Briella, Evelyn, and Rowen.
