Sondi Greiner, 60, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away at her home on October 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sisseton, South Dakota, on April 16, 1965, to Alvin and DeMeris Huff, Sondi grew up with a strong spirit and an unwavering determination that would define her life. She spent most of her years in Sioux Falls, where she built a loving home and raised her three children — Elisha, Brandon, and Ryan — who were her greatest pride and joy.
Sondi was a fighter in every sense of the word. After triumphing over breast cancer, she faced a new battle with strength, grace, and remarkable perseverance. Her resilience inspired everyone who knew her.
She found her greatest happiness in her family — especially her five grandchildren, Jayden, Grayson, Jace, Aubrey, and Avery — who brought endless light to her life. Sondi loved watching baseball and was a devoted New York Yankees fan, cheering them on through every season.
Sondi was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and DeMeris Huff, and her sister, Misti. She is survived by her three children, Elisha, Brandon (Mindy), and Ryan, along with her five beloved grandchildren.
Sondi’s love, warmth, and unwavering care for her family and friends will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of strength and love lives on in all who were fortunate to know her.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
