Sonia Chacon Obituary
Sonia Chacon 47, a resident of Gallina NM, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, with her loving family at her side. Sonia was born on May 17, 1975, to parents Lorraine Gonzales and Frank Chacon. She was preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandparents, Selustriano Gonzales, Amada Romero Gonzales, paternal grandparents, Guzaman Chacon and Angelita Chacon, brother Luciano Valdez, Jr. Sonia graduated from Coronado High School in 1993 and was a caregiver for several years. She was a caring and giving person that enjoyed gardening and drawing. She loved spending time with her children. She is loved by her family and friends. Sonia will be missed dearly but leaves behind many memories to cherish. She is survived by her children, daughter, Abigail Chacon, son, Jeramey Escobedo, grandson, Jayden Horton, sister, Amanda Valdez, a nephew and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was my classmate at Coronado. Black and Gold Pride forever! I remember her as a very kind and loving person, always having a smile no matter what. She a great and dear friend of my sister. She will be missed but not forgotten
