Sonia Lamb

Sonia Lamb, age 88 of Greensboro, GA, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. Sonia was born on May 30, 1935 in Connecticut. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mildred Reynal and father, Claude Reynal. She spent her life raising her children as a homemaker in Conyers GA and was very active in Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church and Salem Methodist Church, both in Conyers, GA.
Sonia was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother and sister to her family who loved her so much! Survivors include her son, Rusty Lamb (Katrina), daughter, Karen Stephens (Jody) and stepdaughter, Debbie Reed. Sonia is also survived by four grandchildren, Kathryn Ams (Matt), Rachel Wyatt (Bryce), Michael Reed (Jennifer), Steven Reed (Krissy) and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Reynal (Judy) and David Reynal (Debbie).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lakepoint Community Church – 106 Village Lane, Eatonton, GA 31024.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and will host a reception following the service at Karen and Jody Stephens' home in Buckhead, GA.
