Sonia Yvette Mercado, 60, of Eagle Lake, Florida passed away December 15, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale, Florida. She was born on June 24, 1961 in Bronx, New York to Ismael and Sonia (Lugo ) Mercado. Sonia was a former Correctional officer in the Law Enforcement industry.
Sonia is survived by: her mother Sonia Mercado-Perez; daughters, Christine Mercado of Eagle Lake, Florida, Maria Ina Turner of Bronx, New York, son Charles Dennis Turner of Bronx, New York. She also leaves to cherish her memory, granddaughters, Nevaeh Mercado and Audrey Lauryn Turner; grandson, Xavian Pinkney.
She was preceded in death by: her father
The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on December 20, 2021 from 3:00PM - 4:00PM Memorial services will be at 4:00PM on December 20, 2021 at Kersey Funeral Home with Pastor Luie Vega officiating.
