On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Sonia Argentina Quintero age 56, of Gaithersburg, MD died peacefully at INOVA Fairfax Hospital Falls Church, VA. Born on May 16, 1967 in Honduras to the late Francisco Quintero and Rosa Vitalina Mendoza who survives. Having earned a bachelor's degree, she entered the medical profession as a nurse. Beloved wife of Santos Tulio Cedillo Diaz. Devoted mother of Miguel Zelaya, Katherine Cedillo, Tulio Cedillo and Liz Janet Cedillo, all of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by six brothers and two sisters. She will be missed by the family and friends whose lives she touched, and by her beloved pet Coco.
On Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 7:00 pm and continuing until 8:00 am on Thursday May 23, 2024 a Vigil will take place at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal La Nueva Jerusalen, 1100 East-West Highway Silver Spring, MD 20910. On Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:00 am a Graveside Service and Interment will take place at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road Olney, MD 20832.
