Sonja Louise Ashpaugh, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Westfield. She was born on March 7, 1941 to Raymond and Martha (Jessup) Stewart in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sonja grew up in Westfield, Indiana where she attended Westfield High School.
Sonja was a devout follower of Jesus, a woman of great faith, and was always ready to pray for and with you. She was friendly, loving, always had a smile on her face, and was always very put together. Sonja loved her family, and was always involved in their lives. She has missed her husband over the last five years and was happy to rejoin him in heaven.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Kris) Ashpaugh, Greg (Betsy) Brown, Lynette (Steve) Mosbaugh, Bruce Ashpaugh, Holly Beady, and David (Donna) Ashpaugh; grandchildren, Joe, Miriam, Caitlin, Joshua, Jacob, Jessica, Bethany, Mark & Reagan; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Pam Mendenhall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Ashpaugh in 2020; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ashpaugh; and brothers, Don, Larry, Tom Stewart and her sister, Sylvia Kirkman
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor David Totman officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
