Sonya Clark Jeffries

Sonya Clark Jeffries of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vernon Lee Clark and Hallie Mae Ervin Clark, was born on Tuesday, December 20, 1938, in Green County and departed this life on, Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Grandview Nursing Facility. She was 86 years, and one month of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Penick's Chapel Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Emil Jeffries on May 31, 1984, having united in marriage on January 28, 1954.
Survivors include her children: Vicki and Bobby Estes of Harrodsburg, Billy Joe and Freda Jeffries, Kerry and Lisa Jeffries all of Greensburg, Tim and Sandra Jeffries of Summersville, and Tammy and Mark McKinney of Green County; six grandchildren: Erica Brown and husband, Tony of Harrodsburg, Chasity Dicken and husband, Daniel of Glasgow, Amey Hunt and husband, Joey of Campbellsville, Nick Wright and wife, Danielle of Greensburg, Clint Jeffries and wife Nicole of Campbellsville, Monica Eatmon and husband, Chuck of Greensburg; 10 great-grandchildren: Cheyanne (Wayne) Bryant, Maddie Hunt, Hallie McCoy, Addison Dicken, Ava Grace Wright, Gavin Jeffries, Austin Jeffries, Olivia Jeffries, Alyssa Eatmon, and Ty Eatmon; great-great grandchild: Grayson Bryant; two sisters: Wava Finn of Bardstown and Sheena Underwood of Texas; a sister-in-law: Linda Clark of Glasgow; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Jeffries was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Forrest Clark, Farrell Dale Clark, Wanda Morgan, Gail Jeffries, and Dawn Morgan; a grandson: Timmy J. Jeffries, Jr.; and two great-grandsons: Aiden Cash Wright, and Landon Jarrod Jeffries.

The funeral services for Sonya Clark Jeffries will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Estes officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or Little Barren Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
