Sophia Dushas passed away peacefully at her home on July 29, 2024 with her family by her side. Sophia was 103 years young and the beloved wife of the late Lazaro. A loving mother to Thomas & Eva Dushas and Marina Dushas and the late Catherine Amanatides. Cherished Grandmother to Sotiri & Denise Dushas, Alexandra & Dean Speres, Georgiana & Kevin O'Sullivan, Christina Amanatides, Lambros & Katie Amanatides and Noel &Thomas Petriello and Great Grandmother of 17 Great Grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. May Her Memory Be Eternal!
Friends and family may visit at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 10 Mill Road New Rochelle, NY 10804 on Thursday August 1, 2024 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. The funeral service will immediately follow at the church at 11:00AM. Interment will then follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, New York.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to AHEPA Chapter 405 Scholarship Fund in Memory of Sophia Dushas 10 Mill Road New Rochelle, NY 10804
