Sophia Mulgrave Obituary

Sophia Mulgrave, born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica moved to Vineland, New Jersey at the age of 19 years old. She was born to her parents, George Mulgrave (predeceased) and Daphne Massop.
She attended Haile Selassie High School in Kingston, Jamaica. She worked at the Vineland Developmental Center, then later went on to provide childcare services for The State of New Jersey for many years.
Sophia enjoyed hosting events, cooking, family time, joking around and laughing with her loved ones.
Sophia leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memories four children, Tracyann Gardner of Williamstown, George (Clint) Gardner of Vineland, Rashaun Gray and Diamond Brown of Newfield; three sisters, Donna Cornwall of Texas, Joan Dale of Newfield, Paula (Billy) Dorris of Vineland and one brother Michael Massop of Newfield; six grandchildren, Christian Butler, Davion Townsend, Nasir Lane, Mariah Gardner, Zayden Gardner and Vada Gray; three great grandchildren Kehlani Townsend, Nova Butler and Riot Townsend and a host of uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:30am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Sophia will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.

I remember when she first moved to Robin Road in Newfield with the whole family. The times were shared. Laughing, dancing eating and drinking Rum punch. I miss you all over again. Sleep well my friend
