Sophia Sheffer Obituary
Sophia graduated from the School of the Arts in Rochester, NY. She was employed at Lifetime Assistance and was also a professional homemaker. Sophia was a selfless, dedicated mother of four children with a beautiful spirit and personality. She loved gardening, decorating her home during the holidays, reading books, and doing creative writing. Another of Sophia's favorite things to do was visit the summer festivals in Rochester and the New York State Fair, enjoying the amazing food choices.
Sophia was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sophia is survived by her loving husband, Michael Sheffer, and her four children: Brooklyn, Terrell, Hailey, and Laila of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Cory and Tryik Blake, both of Rochester, NY; her sister-in-law Ashley (Kyle) Hartman. She also leaves behind special friends Latifah Wilson, Kevin O'Connor, Michael Dionese, Artis Miller, and her snuggly dog Scrappy.
Sophia was filled with love in her heart and God in her soul. "It is never goodbye; I will see you later".
Sophia's life story will be shared during her calling hours on Saturday, December 9th from 2-3 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626, followed by her funeral service also at the funeral home from 3-4:30 pm.
