Sophie H. Maslowski passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2025, at Westwind Manor in Franklin. She was 91. Born in Poland on February 8th, 1934, to Frank and Helen Chudzik. She immigrated to America in 1950, spending time in Brooklyn, NY, before settling in Ogdensburg, NJ, and raising a family. She went on to work at Accurate Forming in Hamburg, Howmet Corp. in Dover, and Stop & Shop in Sparta. She was always a hard-worker and worked until she was 80. Sophie found great joy in gardening, polka dancing, and spending time with her family. She often hosted holidays and family gatherings, cooking Polish specialties and making cherished memories. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; granddaughter Brooke Maslowski; daughters-in-law Barbara and Eileen Maslowski; sisters Veronica Sulocki, Mary Chubay, Anna McCann, Jenny Zaleski, and brother, Teddy Chudzik. Sophie is survived by her children Richard Maslowski (Bonnie), Joseph and Edward Maslowski, and Krys Devine (Rob). She was babci to Jason (Cari), Jordan (Holly), Amanda (Jack), and Kendrea (Mickey). She is also survived by her cherished great-grandchildren Maxwell, Tucker, Magnolia, Tessa, Sadie, Emmory, Calien, and Liliana; as well as her sister, Maggie Watson, and brother Frankl Chudzik; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Sophie will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, from 2-6PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin 07416. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 24th, 11AM at the St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
