Sorn Sech Obituary
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Brown Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (one hour prior to service time)
Sorn was born February 7, 1950 to the late Ong Sech and Ngem Sam. She survived the Cambodian genocide to start a new life in America. She attended the Cambodian Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Sorn loved cooking for her family and friends and loved getting together with them all. She would call just to check up and make sure everyone was okay. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and great grandmother and will be missed.
Sorn is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 50 years, Touch Ep.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Sophorn Sech; sister, Sum Sech; brother, Sytha Sech and wife, Sreyneang Sao; son, Then Sien and wife, Sokunthea Sien; daughter, Channthou San and husband, Chheng San; son, Theth Sien and wife, Phath Sien; son, Thoun Sien and wife, Sondra Sien; daughter, Thoeun Sien; son, Bunthorn Sien; daughter, Sophat Sien; grandson, Tommy San; grandson, Kenneth Sien; granddaughter, Kaycie Sien; grandson, Chandler Sien; grandson, Caleb Sien; granddaughter, Kaili Sien; grandson, Corbin Sien; grandson, Alexander Sien; great granddaughter, Ophelia San; and many friends.
