Spell Margie R

Margie R. Spell passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025 at Stamford Hospital. She was 83 years old. Margie was born June 20, 1942 in Greenville, North Carolina to Eddie Moye and Annie Bell Smith Moye. She retired from Courtland Gardens Nursing Home after many years of service. She was a devout mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who served God faithfully and nurtured the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be treasured by all who were blessed to know and love her. She is survived by her daughter; Kattina Spell, nine grandchildren; Telron Spell, Travis Spell, Tommisha Spell, Shantika Spell, Shekeyla Wills, Shakayla Wills, Kimberly Jordan, Shakyia Kendrick and Brittaney Issac, twenty great grandchildren, her sister; Gloria Jean Moye, son in law; Tommie Jordan, godson; Jerome Atkinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Margie was predeceased by her parents; Eddie and Annie Bell Smith Moye, her son; Clarence Spell, three daughters; Geraldine Spell, Brenda Spell and Carolyn Issac, her siblings; James Moye, Willie Moye, Barbara Ann Moye, Sandra Moye and Mildred Moye. Visitation will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a service of celebration at 11:00 am at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. Bishop Alan B. Graves officiant. Interment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
