Spencer Gary Obituary
A proud graduate of Abbeville High School in 1976, Spencer was actively involved in sports during his youth. He dedicated many years of his life to serving the community through his work at the Abbeville Public Utilities (Hydro Plant) before retiring. He and his wife attended Shiloh Methodist Church of Antreville, where he found both fellowship and support.
Spencer had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing, and he took great pleasure in collecting pottery. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Montee of 44 years of the home; a daughter, Britany Lee Higgins (Ashley); his father, Bob Gary of Due West, SC; a brother, Robert C. Gary, Jr. of Abbeville, SC and a sister, Suzanne Gary Richards of Rock Hill, SC.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Shiloh Methodist Church of Antreville, 198 Hwy 184 W. Abbeville, SC 29620 with the Rev. Jason Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home.
