Stacey William Lawrence

Stacey William Lawrence (69) of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025. Retiring from the Tallahassee Fire Department, Stacey dedicated his life to service; both in his
career and in his community. While serving as a firefighter, he also helped run ABC Nursery and Kindergarten with his family, continuing his lifelong commitment to caring for others. After retirement, he found joy driving a motorcoach for Astro Travel and Tours, where he shared his love of the road
and his gift for connecting with people.
Stacey was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jan Lawrence; his son, Jared Lawrence (43); and his daughter, Stacie Marie Jordan (40),
married to Dustin Jordan. He was a cherished grandfather to Wyatt, Caleb, Wynslett, and Avery, who brought him endless joy and laughter. Stacey is also survived by his brothers, Roger Lawrence (Kathleen) and Mark Lawrence (Laura), with whom he shared a lifelong bond of family and friendship.
Stacey will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, and the stories shared around the dinner table, the day care, and the open road.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Bevis Funeral Home. The family will have a visitation one hour prior to the service.
