On February 4th, 2025, our sweet friend, sister, daughter, and mother passed away surrounded by love. Stacie Mann Kammerman, "Face Ann", unapologetic lover of sunshine, true crime and Jim Morrison, Kool-Aid and sandy beaches, good books and all kinds of animals, passed away surrounded by her beloved friends and family.
In her short 45 years, she had managed to win the hearts of all who knew her. With her beautiful smile, feisty sense of humor, and contagious laugh, she brightened even the darkest rooms. We all envied her ability to write breathtaking poems and admired her eclectic sense of fashion. It was commonplace to receive a silly text or simple card out of the blue from Stacie, as she was always thinking of others. She was every employer's dream, putting a hundred and ten percent into each position she held, her work ethic an example to coworkers and companies alike.
Out of all the beauty Stacie brought to this world, her magnum opus was her son Hunter. From the day he was born, she wanted nothing more than to be a good mom. And she was. He will now and forever be her pride and joy.
Stacie leaves a tremendous void in our world, one that I don't think she realized. Dave and Judy Mann unbearably grieve their irreplaceable daughter. Liza "Feyez Ann" Nelson (Marty), BreAnna "Fwee Ann" Grigsby (Adam), and Zachary "just Zach" Mann (Jessica) suffer the great loss of their smiley sister. Hunter will always treasure the times he had with his beautiful mother, knowing that even if she can't be here in person, she will always be here in our hearts. Nieces and nephews Brinley, Chelsea, Macy, Spencer, and Cameron won't forget their fun-loving aunt who never failed in making them feel loved and included. Her best friend Arissa will somehow have to navigate the next 30 years without her being just a phone call away. And her boyfriend Jamison will always miss his "Sunshine." These are only a handful of the people who will find themselves missing Stacie every day. There are many, many more friends and family members who will feel the indelible loss of such a selfless soul. We are so grateful to have had the privilege of calling her ours.
Our deepest regret is that we will never get to tell Stacie the impact she made on this world and on us. We will forever be in awe of her selfless nature and her ability to take even the worst circumstances in stride. She was no complaints, no drama, just a pillar of strength and resilience. She is and forever will be an example to us all. We love you, Daydee.
Stacie will be laid to rest in the Murray City Cemetery in a private family ceremony. We welcome you all to join us on Friday, February the 21st in the family's ward building at 5422 South Sarah Jane Drive, Kearns Utah 84118 from 6 pm to 8 pm, for a celebration of life where we will bring our smiles and laughter for Stacie just like she did for us.
