Stacy Devon Scruggs Bartley, 59, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away on October 30, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born on January 8, 1966, in Virginia, Stacy was the daughter of the late Frederick Scruggs and Barbara Sue Herion Pechmann.
Stacy worked for American Hofmann in assembly, where her dedication and quick wit made every workday brighter. She was known for her spunky personality — small but mighty, feisty, and never afraid to speak her mind. Stacy had a heart as big as her laugh and lived life with boldness and determination that left a mark on everyone who knew her.
She had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the freedom of the open road — a passion that perfectly matched her spirited and fearless nature.
Stacy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Tyree (Kaylie R. Tyree); her sisters, Toni Fulk and Michelle East; and numerous nieces and nephews who will always cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ross Davidson; and her beloved fur baby, Gage “Gidget”.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home in Madison Heights.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made towards funeral expenses. CLICK HERE TO DONATE
