Obituary of Stacy Lynn Rhodes
Stacy Lynn Rhodes passed away at home on November 23rd 2022 after a courageous 13 year battle with cancer. She is dearly missed and loved deeply by her family and friends whose lives she touched.
Stacy is survived by husband Jeff Rhodes and son Jarod Stigall of Gilbert AZ; parents Chris and Shirley Stroup of Princeton TX; step mom Connie McCarley of Blue Ridge TX; father in law and mother in law Nick and Betty Rhodes of Wylie TX; sisters and brother in laws: Tony and Shawnna Purser, Nathan and Shelly Alexander, Perry and Sandy Hensley, all of Princeton TX; John and Sylvia Gauldin of Blue Ridge TX; and Timra McCarley of Blue Ridge TX; as well as several nieces and nephews. Stacy was preceded in death by her daddy Tim McCarley, step sister Jennifer Boyette and grandparents.
Stacy grew up in Princeton TX and graduated from Princeton High School. She began working for State Farm Insurance shortly after high school and continued working there for her entire career. Stacy loved nothing more than supporting her son Jarod's sporting endeavors which began at 4 years old through college and a few years professionally. She had a sense for fashion and for home decor and was always shopping and looking for the next great idea. She also loved taking trips to the beaches of Mexico, California and Florida. Throughout her long fight with cancer, Stacy was always dressed up with hair and makeup done perfectly, no matter how she was feeling. She was the strongest person any of us will ever know.
A celebration of life will be held in Texas at a date and time to be announced later.

Remember Me
Don't remember me with sadness, don't remember with tears, remember all the laughter we've shared throughout the years. Now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile, knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile. When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. So please don't be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you each morning, noon and night.

I truly loved Stacy. She was full of sweetness and light. I´m sorry we lost touch but I always admired her and loved her. I always thought of her as family. My condolences go to Jeff and all of her family, but especially Jarod. Love you, Jarod, and just know we are here if you ever need anything. May peace eventually find all of you and Stacy´s love for you surround you forever. She was a beautiful and brilliant mother and I will always remember her.
