Harriet A. Scripture, affectionately known as Stacy, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023, in Hudson, Florida, after a brave battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born on September 29, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, Stacy lived a life that was characterized by passion, love, and courage.
Stacy was a woman of great strength, resilience, and determination. Her courage was evident in her day-to-day life, especially in her fight against Parkinson's Disease. Despite her condition, she always managed to maintain a positive outlook on life. She was passionate about the things she loved and pursued them with an energy that was infectious. Her vivacious spirit meant that she was always the life of the party, and her laughter was a sound that brought joy to all who heard it.
Stacy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband, Don Scripture, who was her partner in all things for many beautiful years. Their love story was one that inspired their children and grandchildren, and will undoubtedly continue to do so for generations to come.
Stacy was also a doting mother to her children: Dana Harrison, Alicia Trias, Decoma Cocozza (Rick), Wayne Rochkind and her late son, Randy Falletta. Her children were her pride and joy, and she loved them unconditionally. She was a constant source of support and encouragement for them, always ready with a comforting word or a piece of sage advice.
Stacy's love also extended to her grandchildren: AJ Padro, Christian Padro, Trevor Harrison, Gabby Harrison, Ryker Cocozza, Xander Cocozza, Sean Thacker, Jacob Thacker, and Shelby Morris. She cherished every moment she spent with them, and her eyes would light up whenever she talked about them. Her love for her family was boundless, and she left an indelible mark on all their lives.
Stacy was a woman who lived her life to the fullest. She had a zest for life that was unparalleled, and she made the most of every moment. She was never one to shy away from a challenge, and she faced every obstacle with a determination that was awe-inspiring.
Stacy was a beacon of love and light to all who knew her. Her radiant smile could brighten up even the darkest of days, and her warm, loving nature made her a joy to be around. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her legacy is one of love, courage, and passion. She taught us to live life to the fullest, to laugh often, and to love deeply. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
In the words of her family, "Stacy was a force to be reckoned with. She was a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and a source of unwavering support. She was our rock, our heart, and our soul. Her memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives."
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, we also celebrate her life. A life filled with love, laughter, courage, and passion. A life well-lived. Harriet A. Scripture, known to us as Stacy, will forever be remembered.
