Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home on Feb. 7, 2026.
Born October 19, 1966, Stacy Lee (Clark) Torres was the first born of two children to Mickey Murry Clark and Cheri Morgan Clark. She was born in San Antonio, where the family spent a short time then eventually set reside in a small town of Texas, Boerne. where Stacy spent most of her youth and young adulthood. Stacy had many hobbies ranging from bowling, playing the clarinet, and lifeguarding.
Stacy, at an early age, always knew she wanted to be a career woman. Stacy didn't much enjoy going to school because she knew school wasn't needed to be successful. Often Stacy would skip her high school classes to work a part time job at a daycare. After school, she eventually started work at a truck stop, which she enjoyed her financial freedom and start to her adult career.
Stacy met her husband Amos Torres after being introduced by two mutual friends. Stacy's husband would constantly say that he knew she was the woman of his dreams when they first locked eyes. Shortly after they moved back to San Antonio together. They dated for four years then had their first and favorite only child, Darbi Torres.
During this time, in 1996, Stacy's career began to build after gaining a pricing position at Pabst Brewing Company. Stacy loved the work culture of working with alcohol. After being with the company for 10 years, the Pabst Brewing Company then moved from Texas to Illinois, and Stacy, with her family, followed. After moving, Stacy and her family settled in a small home in the town of Woodridge, Illinois. With change in location, Stacy's positions would change due to Pabst new management, and Stacy began looking to grow her career with new opportunities in her new city. Even with a lot of change with home, people, and jobs, Stacy still had her strong love for bowling. Stacy and husband would join a Friday night bowling league that they loved and continued for years. Stacy also, no matter where she worked, loved giving Christmas baskets for the holidays. Giving and helping was a big part of Stacy's personality. Whether it be, walking to beat Cancer, donating clothes and items, donating blood, or giving Subway gift cards to the homeless, Stacy wanted to bring light to places that were dark. Stacy would continue in pricing for other companies but was then referenced to a contracts position at Mike's Hard Lemonade. Stacy hadn't worked in the alcohol business after Pabst and missed the culture. There were people who have worked for Pabst at Mike's Hard Lemonade, and Stacy stated it was like a "family reunion." Stacy loved working for Mike's. Not only was Stacy working with old "family members," she was making her work family bigger. Mark Anthony Brands was the company Stacy wanted to stay with till retirement, even stating that during her retirement she could be contracted if they needed her help. Stacy always planned to
never fully leave.
Sadly, on February 3, 2026, at 8:30 am Stacy passed away at Edwards Hospital in
Naperville, Illinois. Stacy passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones and was previously visited by countless coworkers and friends.
