Stacy Nicole Via, a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend, departed this life unexpectedly, on May 8, 2024, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

She was always there to help her patients while working at her job of four years at Benton Family Healthcare and many said they wouldn’t go back there if she left.  Most recently, she took a job in Cleveland with GI Associates, and her co-workers described her as a part of their family even though she had only been there for two weeks.

Stacy worked so hard to provide for her beloved daughter, Trinity, and just make it in this thing we call life.  If Stacy were here today, she would want everyone to know she isn’t hurting but rather rejoicing with her Savior Jesus Christ and her Mamaw Jo Ann Walker, who was her best friend and mentor.  She also would ask that everyone who loved her pour that love into the most important person in her life, her daughter Trinity.

Left to cherish the many memories include her loving daughter, Trinity Via; mother, Tina (Ronnie) Sosebee; father, Ted (Debbie) McCoig; brother, Shaun (Krystle) McCoig; nieces, Cadence and Lylah McCoig, and nephew, Barrett McCoig; step-brothers, Nick Wade, Christopher Wade and children, Dakota, Timmy, and Kaden, Stephen (Jenny) Wade and their daughters; Joseph (Megan) Lanier and children; and Weldon Lanier and his daughter; and step-sister, Sonya and children.

A Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Community Fellowship, with Pastor Ted McCoig, Pastor Shaun McCoig, and Pastor Bruce Underwood officiating.

A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Benton Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, at the church prior to the service.
