I went to high school with Stafford where we were in the football team together. He was a great guy and tremendous leader. He was always enthusiastic about life. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to the family. You and Stafford will remain in my prayers.

Condolences to Dr Hood´s family. He was a rigorous but fair professor and I learned much from him in my first week of grad school.

My condolences to Stafford´s family and loved ones. He was my professor at ASU and I remember him fondly for his kindness and understanding, particularly when I failed my first assignment. He was also a wonderful role model. May he rest in power and paradise.

Dr. Hood's contributions to education--particularly equitable education--are huge. His work has had made school a better place for countless students and has been an inspiration throughout the field of education. This is a such a loss but I am incredibly thankful for everything that he did for students across the United States.

Stafford, you will be missed but not forgotten. For has been written in John 1:5, "The Light Shines in the Darkness and the Darkness Shall Not Overcome It." Stafford, you are our Light. Thank you my brother.

It is so hard to believe Stafford is gone. I can't imagine quite how we will get along without him. I suppose in some ways that is the best tribute a person can have, is to know it seems utterly impossible to do without them. I pray that all of you in his family find comfort and peace in knowing how much he mattered to so many.

What a handsome photo! I was unaware of the Wisconsin connection.
A great loss to the evaluation community, among others. We will continue the work.
